Next Movement Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a comprehensive, holistic community service and development organization that works to facilitate, coordinate and ignite education development, economic development and community development. Next Movement CDC has programs and services that encourage and engage economic growth and investment in these areas.  Founded in 2008, Next Movement Community Development Corporation is the non-profit 501c3 development arm of Love Fellowship Christian Center.

 

For almost 8 years, as we have seen Harford County expanding, we have also noticed many neighborhoods have suffered immense decline and related urban ruin.  Next Movement CDC hope is to radically change the landscape of our communities. As we explored this opportunity of changing a generation, we saw hopelessness in the people, and we knew the only way to bring hope to people is to expand their possibilities and increase their expectations.  From this, with the support from Love Fellowship Christian Center, we founded Next Movement CDC and our work continues to focus on expanding possibilities and increasing expectations for families, children, seniors, singles and the entire community at large.

 

The Next Movement offices are located in Abingdon, MD and the organization is devoted to serving the entire Harford County Region as its primary community.  However Next Movement CDC is not bound by geography; our vision is truly regional.

The Next Movement vision is to create sustainable communities that empower children, families, seniors, singles, residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to understand and manage evolving community power, while expanding possibilities and increasing expectations.
